Shooter and the Kittens
I was following another car while driving home one afternoon and just as I approached the driveway I saw Shooter dash across the road, dangerously close to the car in front of me! I was appalle--he just doesn't do that normally. I went inside and exclaimed my astonishment to Dan. Dan said that WooTang had just had kittens and there was a stray tomcat around that day. We figured that Shooter was getting a bit carried away with running him off. Sadly, despite Shooter's efforts, that tomcat did sneak in and kill all kittens from that batch. A couple of months later the second litter of kittens was born. This time WooTang was not going to take any chances! She had the litter right in his doghouse so that he could watch them all the time. Shooter was thrilled!
