Holdens Jack deceased
P462-959 My sister-in-law found Jack when she heard about some English shepherds in southern Arkansas. The owner was having troubles with her ES pups being aggressive. She wanted to be rid of them. Upon inspection, my sister-in-law found a puppy mill with dozens of little dogs. And there was Jack. After several flea and tick dips and several pounds he started to look like a dog. Because I was interested in his pedigree and he appeared to be structurally sound, I took him to Erin's in Wisconsin where we had him PennHIP'd and could evaluate his working ability. His hips were so horrible they couldn't be evaluated. The vet was shocked that those joints would hold him up. In addition, Jack was dog aggressive, attacking Shooter at every opportunity he got with a ferocious grip that was intended to kill. In the end, we had to put him down because he bit the UPS man who dared to drive a vehicle in his driveway. I'm sure Jack is happier in death than he was in life.
