Guineas are great birds for your farm.  They keep insects, small rodents, and reptiles under control.  The diseases that ticks carry are on the rise in this country and a major reason for this is that people have ceased to keep poultry on their farm. 

I have Lyme disease- you don't want it!  Get poultry and get a good farm dog that is easy to train to co-exist with them.
