York is growing up nicely. This dog requires a strong alpha leader, but after accepting you as alpha he is easy to correct with just a quiet "No" or "aaaack". He responds best to positive encouragement for good behavior with non-verbal consequences for unwanted behavior. His recall is getting much better. He is a fierce guardian of our territory and killed his first rat the day before his 6 month birthday. He is playful with the rabbit, with sniffing and nose pushing, but no teeth and also playful with the elderly tom cat, but can be rebuffed with hisses and paw swipes. I'm looking forward to introducing him to sheep and chickens.
